St. Kitts and Nevis continues to record strong annual growth in FDI even during the recession eras due to the Eastern Caribbean dollar being pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of exchange and an economic environment that is investor friendly.
St. Kitts and Nevis enjoys a good standing in the international community and is a member of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Commonwealth, United Nations, the Organization of American States, CARICOM, Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, and the Association of Caribbean States.
